Elizabeth Velazquez creates mixed media/ sculptural works, installations, and rituals. Elizabeth currently lives in Queens, NY. She is one of the founding members of SEQAA and participated in the Southeast Queens Biennial for which she received a commission for new work from No Longer Empty Curatorial Lab. Ms. Velazquez was awarded a mini-grant for new work included in Reimagine End of Life. Elizabeth holds a residency at Cigar Factory located in LIC, Queens.
