In conjunction with THE OTHER ORDER
Join us for a participatory workshop that dives into themes of memory, belonging, and resistance, inspired by the ongoing "The Other Order" exhibition. We'll use photographs, texts, and everyday materials to reflect on the phrase "This House Is Not For Sale" as a symbol of identity and cultural resilience.
What to Expect:
- Explore personal connections to space, identity, and community through hands-on practices like screen printing, collage, and mark-making
- Create personal works that contribute to a collective archive, fostering shared storytelling and reflection
- Connect with others who share similar experiences and perspectives, building community and sparking meaningful conversations
- Take home your creations and become part of a larger narrative on resistance, belonging, and cultural resilience
Workshop Structure:
- Introduction and context-setting
- Personal reflection and material gathering
- Hands-on creative practices
- Sharing and collective archive-building
- Closing and takeaways
