Orlando Estrada is a visual and performance artist holding a MFA from the University of Florida and a BFA from Florida International University. Estrada's work has been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally and he currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. In January 2016, he founded INCARNATA SOCIAL CLUB, a nomadic performance showcase dedicated to providing artists with an open platform for new and experimental performance art. In his latest performance project, BLACK HOLE, Estrada creates abrasively thick soundscapes as a backdrop for his performative theatrical vignettes, encompassing themes of psychological turmoil, human emotion, and mystic phenomenon. Estrada is fascinated by the supernatural world and his hobbies include paranormal investigation, hot yoga, and collecting mineral samples.

This Fellowship is an exchange program with apexart and the Seoul Art Space Geumcheon, in Seoul, South Korea.
