In Egyptian mythology, the God "HU" represents the breath of creation and power of the spoken word. Hu is the personification of Divine Utterance and the sound essence of the first breath from which all things formed. The Hu(e) La Vonne Natasha Caesar is a multilingual poet, healer, and artist. She is a Yoga Alliance certified Hatha Yoga instructor, Kemetic (Ancient African/Egyptian) Yoga instructor, Thai Yoga bodywork practitioner, Shamanic and Reiki attuned healer, and has a BA in French and MA in Creative Writing. In both her healing work and creative expression, she incorporates her study and practice of Shamanism, breathwork, birthwork, Sanskrit mantra, sound healing, Yoga Vedantic Fire Rituals (Agni Hotra), Vipassana, and other meditation techniques. apexart's programs are supported in part by The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, The Buhl Foundation, the Degenstein Foundation, Lambent Foundation Fund of Tides Foundation, Bloomberg Philanthropies, The Greenwich Collection Ltd., Affirmation Arts Fund, the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation, the Fifth Floor Foundation, and with public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council and the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew M.
