As part of Obsesión! Labor as Pleasure, artist Daniela Gomez Paz invites you to a two-hour experimental felting workshop centered on presence, transformation, and impermanence. Using wool felt—a tactile material—participants will explore the meditative potential of fiber through touch, layering, and compression. This is a journey through process over product, inviting deep embodiment and intuitive making. No experience necessary—just curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Daniela Gomez Paz (b. Cali, Colombia) completed an MFA at the Yale School of Art in 2023, a BFA & BA from SUNY Purchase, and a MAT from Queens College. She’s exhibited at Mindy Solomon Gallery, Miami, FL; SPURS Gallery, Beijing, CN; Perrotin Gallery, New York, NY; NOON Projects, Los Angeles, CA; and Plain Gallery, Milan, IT.
