Ameyalli Mañon-Ferguson will lead a hands-on indigenous beading workshop that weaves together Mazahua, Nahua, and Osage traditions with contemporary design. Participants will learn foundational techniques and create their own beaded pieces, engaging with beadwork as both cultural practice and artistic expression. Materials provided.

Ameyalli Mañon-Ferguson is an Indigenous beader and artist. Her work blends Mazahua, Nahua, and Osage traditions with contemporary styles. Raised in Oregon’s Indigenous communities, she creates unique beadwork while teaching and advocating through workshops, using her artform as both cultural expression and activism.
