Literary critic Hyejin Oh will give a lecture on the history of Korean queer literature.

Hyejin Oh is a literary critic. She studied in modern and contemporary literature and culture theory at the Department of Korean Language at Sungkyunkwan University (Seoul) where she also completed the doctorate coursework. Her interest lies in analyzing and historicizing the sexual politics of narrative, representation, and discourse. In her publication, An Extremely Literary Taste (Spring of May, 2019), she questions the normality of Korean literature and analyzes the nature of democratic imagination and narrative experiments presented by the new generation.
