Siphatisiwe Patience Mnguni, known as Phati Mnguni, runs her arts company - Phati Mnguni Arts. She is a multimedia artist, mother, facilitator, writer and public speaker, based in the UK. Her combined work explores personal identity through abstraction and development. Her quest is to make a difference with inclusive projects, educational programmes, public speaking and coaching. She currently focuses on positive and healthy relationships challenging domestic abuse of all forms on FB. Her work as an artist featured at BBC Southeast News, in magazines and radio for Refugee Week 2017/18. Phati exhibited in Zimbabwe, her native country, UK and the Netherlands. She has produced a booklet of ‘Inspirational Words’ and is currently writing ‘Painting From A Dream’, informed by her artistic journey. She has received awards, including the ‘Young Achievers Award’ for her contributions to schools and community. She holds a BA (hon) in Art & Design, and PGCE in Art and Design.
