Louis Bury is the author of Exercises in Criticism (Dalkey Archive) and Assistant Professor of English at Hostos Community College, CUNY. He writes regularly about visual art for Hyperallergic, and his creative and critical work has been published in Bookforum, Brooklyn Rail, Los Angeles Review of Books, Boston Review, and The Believer.
Christian Hawkey has written two full-length poetry collections: The Book of Funnels (Wave Books, 2005) and Citizen Of (Wave, 2007); four chapbooks: Hour Hour (Delirium Press, 2005), Petitions for an Alien Relative (Hand Held Editions, 2009), Ulf (Factory Hollow Press, 2010), and Sonette mit Elizabethanischem Maulwurf (hochroth verlag, 2010); and a cross-genre book Ventrakl (2010, Ugly Duckling Presse). A new book, Sonne from Ort, a collaborative bi-lingual erasure made with the German poet Uljana Wolf, appeared in 2013 (kookbooks verlag, Berlin). In 2006 he received a Creative Capital Innovative Literature Award. In 2008 he was a DAAD Artist-in-Berlin Fellow. He translates contemporary German poetry, as well as the late short prose of the Austrian writer Ilse Aichinger, and his own work has been translated into over a dozen languages. He is on officer of the Office of Recuperative Strategies, and a member of the WeTransist collective.
Susan Wheeler is the author of six books of poetry, most recently Meme (University of Iowa Press), which was shortlisted for the National Book Award; and a novel, Record Palace (Graywolf Press). Her selected poems, Assorted Poems, was published by Farrar, Straus & Giroux. The recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship and the Witter Bynner Prize for Poetry from the American Academy of Arts and Letters, she teaches creative writing at Princeton University.
Albert Mobilio is the recipient of a Whiting Award, a MacDowell Fellowship, and an Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant. His work has appeared in Harper's, Hambone, Black Clock, BOMB, Cabinet, Open City, Paris Review Daily, and Tin House. Books of poetry include Bendable Siege, The Geographics, Me with Animal Towering, and Touch Wood. A book of fiction, Games and Stunts, has just been published by Black Square Editions. He is an assistant professor of literary studies at the New School's Eugene Lang College, an editor at Hyperallergic Weekend, and a frequent contributor to Bookforum.
