Grounded in a belief in the book as a vehicle of ideas, Dear Reader is an investigation into the book's mediation with the public in places such as libraries, bookstores, or flea markets. This project consists of spreading direct messages through the distribution of letters between the pages of books in such locations throughout different cities. Each envelope is addressed with the salutation "Dear Reader," transforming the reader into an active audience, and each iteration of the project considers issues specific to the city in which that intervention takes place, in order to include various political and cultural contexts.
Greta Rusttt is an art collective based in Berlin. Founded in 2013, it aims for collaborative projects with different artists, writers, and designers. In the context of the virtual, post-internet times, Greta Rusttt focuses on the role of books and editions in today's society. He
