Steven Rand, Founder and Executive Director of apexart, and the apexart Staff sit down with Michael Chovan-Dalton to discuss the history and mission of this non-profit arts organization as well as the changes they have seen, and what they are thinking about for its future. Questions from the audience will be taken during the recording.

Real Photo Show (also known as thePhotoShow) was created by Michael Chovan-Dalton in 2015 as a platform to provide space and voice for photographers and to help build community in the field. The podcast features artists in conversation about origins, influences, teaching, books, showing, tools, some technology, and anything else that arises in the moment. The Real Photo Show is sponsored by the School of Visual Arts MFA Photography, Video, & Related Media - Charles Traub, Chair.

Michael Chovan-Dalton holds an MFA from Columbia University and a BFA from the School of Visual Arts, NYC. He is a professor and coordinator of Photography at Mercer County Community College in New Jersey, the JKC Gallery Director, and is creator of the podcast Real Photo Show.
