Kęstutis Šapoka is an artist, art critic, philosopher, and curator who lives and works in Vilnius, Lithuania. He is a Senior Research Fellow at the Lithuanian Culture Research Institute, Curator at the Jonas Mekas Visual Art Center, and Co-editor of cultural journal Kultūros barai.
Over the course of his career, Šapoka has published over 200 critical reviews and 20 academic articles on Lithuanian contemporary art as well as curated 14 exhibitions. In 2008, Šapoka earned his PhD in Art theory and History from Vilnius Academy of Fine Arts.
