This event is free and open to the public. All programs are subject to change.
The ability to create a state of awareness that is simultaneously spacious and grounded supports our ability to step out of the conditioned reactivity of daily life and see the contents of our mind moving through clearly – without the usual subjective overlay of self and personal history. When practiced regularly, these practices lead to a mental clarity which enables the release of old habit patterns and limiting beliefs which, in turn, reduce our levels of stress and afflictive states of mind.

Josh Korda has been the guiding teacher at Dharma Punx NYC since 2005. He has a large Buddhist mentoring private practice and contributes regularly Buddhist magazines such as Lions Roar, Tricycle, and Bhuddhadharma. His first book is due out in 2017.

Kathy Cherry is a founding member of Dharma Punx NYC and a trained Facilitator through Against the Stream Meditation Society in Los Angeles. She teaches weekly at MNDFL NYC and offers Mindfulness courses for a variety of corporate clients in the city.
