Lucía Vidales is an artist based in Mexico City. Holding an MA in Visual Arts from the National Autonomous University of México, she was also a resident for graduate studies at the Fine Arts Faculty of the Complutense University of Madrid. Her BFA studies in Fine Art were undertaken at ‘La Esmeralda’ National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking of the National Institute of Fine Arts, Mexico. She has participated in over fifty solo and group exhibitions in Mexico and abroad and has been a fellow of the National Endowment for the Arts program on numerous occasions. Her work employs fiction, history, and imagination to develop a personal universe around painting.
