Clare Kambhu is an artist and educator based in New York City. Working primarily in painting, she considers how noticing moments in daily life leads to questions, sensations, and investigations about the construction of our world. Her current work focuses on the project of schooling and she often makes observational paintings in the public high school where she teaches. Clare holds a BFA in Studio Art and an MA in Art Education from New York University and an MFA in Painting from Yale School of Art. She recently participated in the Art & Law Program and Bronx Museum AIM fellowship.
