Fabiano Cueva Nieto (b. 1972) is an artist and producer based in Quito, Ecuador. He is a member of Centro Experimental Oido Salvaje, a platform for sound art research created in 1996, and has worked on projects and events for small town communities and public urban spaces; satellite, web and air radio broadcasting with low technologies and frontier strategies. Cueva has published 10 compilations on book, CD and DVD of video art, sound art, traditional music and poetry. Cueva won the 1st prize of III Bienal Latinoamericana de Radio Mexico 2000 and the Paris Prize of the IX Bienal Internacional de Cuenca 2007. In 2010 he received a cultural grant of the Prince Claus Foundation. Cueva is also is involved in non-disciplinary teaching, public performances, and soundtracks for installations and experimental films.
