Nathan Catlin was born in southern California and lived in San Francisco before moving to Brooklyn in 2009. He received his MFA in visual arts from Columbia University in 2012, with special focus on printmaking. Since then he has been an adjunct professor teaching relief printmaking at the university and has shown his art around the country and internationally. He is the Studio and Project Manager at the LeRoy Neiman Center for Print Studies at Columbia University and is the author of the children's book titled "Animals with Insecurities.” This Fellowship is an exchange program with apexart and the Art Cube Artists' Studios in Jerusalem, Israel, which is made possible in part by the Jerusalem Foundation.
