If you are a Tribeca resident, as we are, having an interesting event space around the corner sometimes makes the difference between going out and not going out during the week—especially in these winter months. apexart offers many diverse programs, most often on Wednesday nights and Saturday afternoons, that include curators and artists speaking about the exhibitions and their work, writers reading newly published work, film and music events, and we've even done a few "kid" programs on weekends (events archives here).
