Spencer Grimes takes you through the history of the television business and looks ahead a decade, which may well bring more disruptive change than the previous 75 years.

From broadcast to cable to internet video, Spencer Grimes, New School Adjunct Professor, analyst, and founder of investment firm Twinleaf Management LLC, will discuss these changes over the course of television’s history and how they’ll effect the way we watch television in the future.

Spencer Grimes is founder of media-focused investment advisory firm Twinleaf Management LLC in Connecticut and an adjunct professor of media studies at The New School in New York. He is formerly a media-focused private equity investor, a media analyst at Smith Barney/Citigroup and he started his career at Viacom. He’s been a keen observer of the media business since the 1980s.
