Join us for the chance to hear apexart's current resident, Adam Burthom, reflect on his month-long relocation to New York City from the remote countryside of County Sligo, Ireland. Having traversed all five boroughs of the city, Adam will talk about his expectations before arrival and the reality of being in New York for the first time.

This residency talk is hosted by Laura Braslow, founding member of Arts in Bushwick, a volunteer organization that serves and engages artists and other neighborhood residents through creative accessibility and community organizing.
