Hear from two apexart residents about their recent international programs. Outbound Resident Sally Gil will reflect on her month in São Paulo and current Inbound Resident Lior Pinsky from Jerusalem speaks about his impressions of his first time in New York.

In conversation with Bad at Sports correspondent Amanda Browder, Sally and Lior will speak to the effects of travel on creativity and how taking a break from making art can inspire creativity. In conversation with Bad at Sports' Amanda Browder.

Sally Gil's work is a search for surprise meaning and linkages between things. In essence, looking for magic and spirituality behind the everyday. Her elaborated collages and painted landscapes are documents of that search. Read more on her resident page.

Lior Pinsky investigates different elements of experimental music, dealing mainly with the relationships between folk culture, music, spatial composition, ambiance/space, minimalistic composition, and computer music programming.  Read more on his resident page.

Amanda Browder, co-founder of Bad at Sports, is an internationally shown visual artist who lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
