Mission & History
apexart is a non-profit arts organization in Lower Manhattan founded in 1994. We offer opportunities to curators and emerging and established artists, while challenging set ideas about culture, art, exhibitions, and curation through our exhibitions, Fellowships, publications, and public programs.
Admission to apexart’s gallery is always free and open to the public.

Special hours are in effect. Our gallery is closed through Sept. 30, 2020.
We reopen Oct. 1 - 24, 2020: 1pm-6pm EST, Thursday - Saturday.

There are two, 7-inch steps leading up the gallery. apexart has a portable ramp for wheelchair users and visitors with limited mobility. Before you visit or when you arrive, please call the office at (212) 431-5270 or email us at info@apexart.org.
Group Visits
We welcome group visits and are happy to offer a tour of the exhibition on view. If you would like a tour during your group visit, please email us at info@apexart.org to schedule. apexart is open Tuesday-Saturday from 11am-6pm.
Tours
Brief exhibition tours are available on request. We are always happy to give walkthroughs of the exhibition and provide more information about apexart.
